Resistance means resist/oppose the flow of current.

First the resistors R1 and R2 are in series,

So equivalent resistance=R1+R2

=10 + 5 ohms

=15 ohms......... Equation 1

Now, again the resistors R4 and R5 are in series, therefore

Equivalent resistance =R4+R5

=5 + 10 ohms

=15 ohms.............equation 2

Now Equivalent resistance across A and B will be

Equation 1, equation 2 and R3 are in parallel

Hence Equivalent Resistance will be

1/Rp=1/15 + 1/15 +1/15

1/Rp=3/15

Rp=15/3

Rp=5 ohms

Hence equivalent resistance across A and B is 5 ohms.
