Since, l // m // n.

Let AC be the transversal then,

Angle A + Angle C = 180 [ Co - interior angles ]

110 +x = 180

X = 180 - 110 = 70.

ON line n ,

30 + y + 20 = 180 [ Linear Pair ]

y = 180 - 50 = 130

When m // n,

=> Angle z = 20 [ alternate interior angles]

In triangle CDE,

Angle z + Angle t + Angle y = 180 [ Angle Sum property ]

130 + Angle t + 20 = 180

=> Angle t = 180 - 150 = 30.

VALUE OF ( y + x ) / ( y - x )

= (130 + 70) / ( 130 - 70)

= 200 / 60

= 10 / 3 or 10 : 3 .

poojakumaresh26: recheck your answer its 180-50 not 180-60!!
Anonymous: Ya... the ratio is 10 /3.
Anonymous: My last step is wrong.
