5^x+5^x-1=5^4+5^3(750=5^4+5^3)
x+x-1=4+3 (since Base in both sides are same i.e. 5 so we can remove the Base and keep the exponents because say for eg. 5^x=5^1 ;x will be 1.Verification:5^1=5^1;it's similar for all others too)
2x=8
x=4
Hope it helps:)

verification :
5^x+5^x-1=750
(having taken out x=4)
5^4+5^4-1=750
5^4+5^3=750
750=750
LHS=RHS
So verified.

5^x + 5^x - 1 = 750

5^x + 5^x × 5^-1 = 750

5^x ( 1 + 1/5 ) = 750

5^x × 6/5 = 750

5^x = 750 × 5/6

5^x = 125 × 5

5^x = 5^3 × 5

5^x = 5^4

x = 4
