Given line p and line q are parallel

75° and ∠x will become linear pair i.e, they will add up to 180°

∠x + 75 = 180

∠x = 105°

Since ∠x and ∠y lie on the same line, they add up to 180

105 + ∠y = 180

∠y = 180-105

∠y = 75°

Hopefully this is the right answer :)

eshikajaiswal: x will be 105 as 180 - 75 = 105 ( linear pair )
eshikajaiswal: y will be 75 because 180 - 105 = 75

Line which have point P is parallel to the line which have point q. Therefore the angle which is making a linear pair on P with x is corresponding to 75°.

So,  angles which is a linear pair of x on P = 75°

Sum of two linear pair angles = 180°

x + 75° = 180°

x = 180° - 75°

x = 105°

As Line L and and M are parallel, y is equal to the angle which is linear pair to x on P.

y = 75°

Answer : y = 75° and x = 125°
