Answer:

1)

angle y=?

Given AB=DB

therefore

angle ADB=angle DAB(if two opposite sides of a triangle are equal then their opposite angles are also equal)

angle ADB=35°

therefore

angle DAB=35°

but we've to find y,for that we've to find angle ABD

in ∆ABD

ADB+DAB+ABD=180°(sum of all interior angles of a triangle are supplementary)

35+35+ABD=180

70+ABD=180

ABD=180-70

ABD=110°

and now we've to find y

from the figure

ABD+y=180°(adjacent angles are supplementary)

110+y=180

y=180-100

y=70°

or else you can apply exterior angle property of a triangle.

therefore correct option is option a)

2)

Given

AC=CE

if so then

angle CEA=angle CAE(if two opposite sides of a triangle are equal then their opposite angles are also equal)

angle CAE=46°

also

z=angle CEA+ angle CAE(if a side of triangle is produced then the exterior angle so formed is the sum of the two interior opposite angles)

z=46+46

z=92

therefore correct option is option b)

3)

angle x=?

we know

x+y+z=180°(sum of all interior angles of a triangle are supplementary)

x+92+70=180

x+162=180

x=180-162

x=18°

therefore the correct option is option a)

hope it helps
