64- a²-b²-2ab

= (8)² - (a²+b²+2ab)

=(8)²-(a+b)² [x²+y²=x²+y²+2xy]

=(8+a+b) (8+a+b). [x²-y²=(x+y)(x-y)]

=(a+b+8)(a+b+8)

a^2 - b^2 = (a-b) (a+b)

therefore,

[8-(a-b)] [8+a+b]=0

(8-a-b) (8+a+b)= 0
