Answer is x= 2.5
2.4(3-x)-0.6(2x-3)=0
7.2-2.4x-1.2x+1.8 = 0
9-3.6x=0
-3.6x = -9
-x = -2.5
x=2.5
2.5 = 5/2

SOLUTION WITH STEPS

2.4(3-x)-0.6(2x-3)=0
[2.4(3-x)-0.6(2x-3)]*10=0*10    [Multiplying both sides by 10. ]
10*2.4(3-x)-10*0.6(2x-3)=0
24(3-x)-6(2x-3)=0
72-24x-12x+18=0
-24x-12x+72+18=0
-36x+90=0
-36x+90-90=0-90    [Subtracting 90 from both sides. ]
-36x=-90
\frac{-36x}{-36}=\frac{-90}{-36}    [Dividing both sides by -36. ]
x=\frac{5}{2}

CHECKING
LHS (Left Hand Side of the equation) = 2.4(3-x)-0.6(2x-3)2.4(3-\frac{5}{2})-0.6(2*\frac{5}{2}-3)2.4(\frac{6-5}{2})-0.6(5-3)2.4*\frac{1}{2}-0.6*2 = \frac{2.4}{2}-1.2 = 1.2-1.2 = 0
RHS (Right Hand Side of the equation) = 0
                                      ∴ LHS = RHS

∴ The solution to the given equation is x=\frac{5}{2}
