Area of Figure ABCF = l*b    {Figure is a rectangle}

                                  = 20*20

                                 = 400 cm²

Area of Figure CDEF = \frac{1}{2} ( a+b) h   {Figure is a trapezium}

                                     = \frac{1}{2} ( 20 +6 ) 8

                                     = 26*4

                                      = 104 cm²

Total area of the figure ABCDEF = 400+104

                                                      = 504 cm²

HOPE THIS MAKES UR DAY BETTER!!

Answer:

HEY THERE HERE IS THE ANSWER!!

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for finding the area of a trapizium = A= (a+b

)/2 x h ;

                    where a and b are the length of the parallel sides of the trapizium.

here the area of the trapizium EDCF = ( 6+20 )/ 2 x 8

                                                             =13 x 8

                                                              =104 cm^2

and again  the area of the square ABCF is = 20 x 20

                                                                      = 400 cm^2

So the total area of the polygon = Ar ABCF + Ar EDCF

                                                     = 400 + 104

                                                     =  504 cm^2 ( answer)
