x+ 3y=3 -------- (1)

2x+y = 1-------(2)

multiplying equation one by 2 ....

2x+6y =6

2x+y=. 1

solving we get 5y = 5

y== 5/5 == 1

Now again multiplying second equation 3.

x+ 3y = 3

6x + 3y = 3

now solving we get -5x = 0

x == 0
