Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

5^(x+1) = (25×5^x) ×(1/5)

To find:-

Is 5^(x+1) = (25×5^x) ×(1/5) true or not

Solution:-

Given equation is 5^(x+1) = (25×5^x) ×(1/5)

LHS=5^(x+1) ------(1)

RHS = (25×5^x) ×(1/5)

=> 25/5 × 5^x

=>5×5^x

We know that

a^m × a^n = a^(m+n)

=>5×5^x

=> 5^(x+1)-----(2)

From (1)&(2)

LHS = RHS

5^(x+1) = (25×5^x) ×(1/5) is true

Answer:-

5^(x+1) = (25×5^x) ×(1/5) is true statement.

Used formula:-

  • a^m × a^n = a^(m+n)
