Let the two numbers be a and b ,

Given, a=7+b              .................Eq.(1)

and a^2=77+b^2        ..................Eq.(2)

Squaring the Eq.(1) we get

a^2=49+14b+b^2       ..................Eq.(3)

Subtracting Eq.(2) from Eq.(3)

=>0=-28+14b

=>b=2

So from Eq.(1)

a=7+2=9

Thanks!!!

manojkumar3189: I can't understand
manojkumar3189: eq 3 is not given
manojkumar3189: then where it comes from
harshmakwana505: When we will square the Eq.(1) we will get The Eq.(3).
