I have come a long way. take the perpendicular from each triangle and find it out by the Pythagoras theorem. then find the area of the triangles.
Then from the eqn that perimeter of the rectangle is 12 cm2.... square the eqn and find the area of the rectangle.
then add the areas .
I think there has been some mistake I in the calculations but I am sure I of the method.
Pls try it at home...
