given sinФ=3/5

let ABC be a right angled Δ

now we know that sinФ=perpendicular/hypotenuse

∴AB= 3cm , AC=5cm

using pythagoras theorem,

(AC)² = (AB)²+(BC)²

(5)²= (3)²+(BC)²

25=9+BC²

25-9=BC²

BC²=16

BC=4 cm

now cosФ= base/ hypotenuse

                 = 4/5

tanФ= perpendicular/base

        = 3/4

cotФ= base/perpendicular

        =  4/3

we have to find (cosФ-1/tanФ)/2cotФ

                          = (4/5-4/3)/2×4/3

                          =  (12-20/15)/(8/3)

                          =  (-1/5) ANS
