a rectangle with same area with width 6centimeter

Answer:

First drawa rectangle with give measurements

Length =5cm and breadth =3 cm

Now apply the are of the rectangle

1/2(a)(b)

1/2(5)(3)=15/2

Area=7.5 sqcm

Now given draw a rectangle with same area with 6 cm width

Now a=6cm

1/2(a)(b)=7.5 sqcm

1/2(6)(b)=7.5

3b=7.5

B=7.5/3

B=2.5

Therefore

Length =6cm

Width=2.5cm

Now the required rectangle of same area(7.5 sqcm) and length 6cm and width 2.5cm
