⟹ Distance = 0.5m

⟹ Initial speed = zero

➳ As per concept of work-energy theorem,

\implies\sf\:Work\:done=Change\:in\:Kinetic\:energy\\ \\ \implies\tt\:mg(sin\theta-\mu\cos\theta)\times x=\dfrac{1}{2}m(v^2-u^2)\\ \\ \implies\tt\:g{\large (}\sin37\degree-\dfrac{1}{8}\cos37\degree{\large )}\times 0.5=\dfrac{1}{2}(v^2-0^2)\\ \\ \implies\tt\:g{\large (}\dfrac{3}{5}-\dfrac{4}{8\times 5}{\large )}\times 0.5=\dfrac{v^2}{2}\\ \\ \implies\tt\:10\times\dfrac{5}{10}=v^2\\ \\ \implies\tt\:v^2=5\\ \\ \implies\underline{\boxed{\bf{v=\sqrt{5}\:ms^{-1}}}}\: \gray{\bigstar}
