HEY MATE !

I2Cl6 is a dimer of ICl3 and we know the central atom is I obviously.

Dimer do have a PLANAR geometry

But , that's not the case of Al2Br6 , each Al atom is tetrahedrally bonded with 4Br atoms.

So, I think Option (3) is incorrect.

Please convey the mistake if found any.
