SOLUTION :-

 \\ \\ \implies \sf \: \frac{3x + y + 5}{2x - y + 3} = \frac{5}{3} \\ \\ \\ \sf \: cross \: multiplying...we \: get... \\ \\ \\ \implies \sf \: 3(3x + y + 5) = 5(2x - y + 3) \\ \\ \\ \sf \: solving \: furthur.... \\ \\ \\ \implies \sf \: 9 x + 3y + \cancel{15} = 10x - 5y + \cancel{15} \\ \\ \\ \implies\sf \: 9x - 10x = - 5y - 3y \\ \\ \\ \implies \sf \: - x = - 8y \\ \\ \\ \implies \sf \: x = 8y \\ \\ \\ \implies \sf \: \underline{\boxed{ \sf \: \blue{\frac{x}{y} = 8}}} \\ \\

Hence , x/y = 8.
