Answer:

Given:

Area of the rhombus,A=96cm²

One of its diagonal,d1=16cm

To find:

The length of the side of rhombus=?

Solution:

As we know that,

Area of the rhombus,A=1/2×d1×d2

1/2×16cm×d2=96cm²

8cm×d2=96cm²

d2=96/8=12cm

So, other diagonal,d2=12cm

Now,To find the length of the side of rhombus..

Since,4a²=d1²+d2²

Where,a is the length of the side.

4a²=16²+12²

4a²=256+144

4a²=400

=100

a=10cm

So, The length of the side of rhombus,a=10cm..

Step-by-step explanation:

Hope it helps you.......

Answer:

Area of a rhombus = 1/2×d1×d2

Step-by-step explanation:

According to question,

Area of rhombus = 96cm²

d1 = 16cm

d2 = 1/2×16×d2 =96

d2 = 12cm.

Now,

a = √p²+q²/2 ( p & q are diagonals)

a = √(16)²+(12)²/2

a = 1/2×√256+144

a = 1/2×√400

a = 1/2×20

a = 10 cm

Hence other sides are of 10cm.
