Step-by-step explanation:

let distance=d and time =t

therefore, s=d/t

15km/h= d/t-1.6hr

d= 15km/hr (t-1.6hr)

And again

s= d/t

12km/hr= d/t+2hr

d=12km/hr ( t+2hr)

from both equation we have

15km/hr(t-1.6hr)=12km/hr(t+2hr)

5(t-1.6hr)= 4(t+2hr)

5t-8hr=4t+8hr

t= 16hr

therefore distance= speed× time

= 15km/hr× (16-1.6)hr

= 15km× 14.4

=216km
