  • values of x and y

\huge\bf\purple{Solution\::}

  • 4x - 3y = 8_______①
  • 6x - y = \dfrac{29}{3}_______②

Let us multiply eq② with 3

➙ 6x - y = \dfrac{29}{3} × 3

18x - 3y = 29

4x - 3y = 8

-     +     -

----------------

14x = 21

----------------

➙ x = \dfrac{21}{14}

➙ x = \bf\dfrac{3}{2}

Putting x value in eq①

➙ 4 × \dfrac{3}{2} - 3y = 8

➙ 6 - 8 = 3y

➙ -2 = 3y

➙ y = \bf\dfrac{-2}{3}

Hence

  • \bf\orange{x \ = \ \dfrac{3}{2} }

  • \bf\orange{y \ = \ \dfrac{-2}{3}}

SOLUTION:-

Given

▪︎ 4x-3y=8

▪︎ 6x-y=29/3

To find

Value of x and y

Explanation

▪︎ 4x-3y=8___________(1)

▪︎ 6x-y=29/3___________(2)

Firstly, Take eq 2

▪︎6x-y=29/3

= 6x-y-29/3=0

Take LCM

 \frac{18x - 3y - 29}{3}  = 0 \\  \\  =

18x-3y=29_______(3)

On Subtracting eq1 form 3

18x - 3y = 29

4x - 3y = 8

- + -

__________

14x = 21

x=21/14

x= 3/2

Putting value of x in eq 3

▪︎ 18x-3y=29

= 18×3/2-3y=29

= 27-3y=29

= -3y=29-27

= -3y= 2

= y= -2/3

So the value of x = 3/2 and y= -2/3
