so gauri has X+5 and Tia has 2x+5

Now Tia has 8 stamps more than Gauri

So ,(2x+5)-(X+5)=8

X+8+5=2x+5

X+13=2x+5

X=8

Gauri had 8 stamps and

Tia had 16 stamps.
