Answer:

given:-

AO = BO

CO = DO

∠ AOC = 90°

Now,

In △AOC and △BOD

=> AO = BO [given]

=> CO = DO [given]

=> ∠ AOC = ∠BOD [Vertically opposite angles]

So, we can say that △AOC ≅ △BOD by SAS (side angle side) congruency rule.

Now, AC = BD [CPCT]

hence \: proved

NOTE

*CPCT stands for Corresponding Parts of Congruent Triangles.

*AO = BO , CO = DO

as in the question it is given that line segment AB and BC bisect (divide in 2 equal parts) each other.
