x + 15 = 4(7x + 15)

⇒ x + 15 = 28x + 60

⇒ x - 28x = 60 - 15

⇒ -27x = 45

⇒ x = 45/-27

⇒ x = -1.66

As per the data given in the question,

In the above question, it is given that,

The given equation is x+15=4(7x+15)

Here we have to simplify the given equation.

We have to get the value of x by simplification.

Thus, Simplifying the equation we get,

x+15=4(7x+15)\\x+15=28x+60

Taking all x at one side and constant at one side we get,

x-28x=60-15\\-27x=45\\-x=\frac{45}{27} \\-x=1.667\\x=-1.667

Hence after simplifying the given equation we obtain the value of x as -1.667
