Multiply the middle 2 terms and the extreme terms.

x (x+a) (x+ 2a) ( x+ 3a)

=( x^2 +3ax +2a^2) (x^2 + 3ax)

=( (x^2 + 3ax +a^2) +a^2) (( x^2 + 3ax + a^2) - a^2)

Therefore it becomes......

( x^2 + 3ax + a^2)^2 -a^4

Therefore, for making it perfect square, we need to add a^4

x (x+a) (x+ 2a)( x + 3a) + a^2

= ( x^ 2 +3ax + a^2) ^2
