Pls tell
If a and b are two odd positive integers such as that a is greater than b, then prove that one of the two numbers (a+b)/2 (a-b)/2 is odd and the other is even.

sum of two odd number is always even and the number when divided by 2 it becomes odd

example

(7+3)/2=10/2=5

substraction of two odd number is always even and the number when divided by 2 stays even.

example

(7-3)/2=4/2=2
