Hope this helps.

Since PQ is tangent to the left circle at P,

∠QPR = ∠PSR.

Since PQ is tangent to the right circle at Q,

∠PQR = ∠QSR.

So

∠PRQ + ∠PSQ

= ∠PRQ + ∠PSR + ∠QSR

= ∠PRQ + ∠QPR + ∠PQR

= 180°      [ angles in a triangle ].
