Here's your answer
10.
Let Aman's son's age be x
Aman's age is 3 times his son's age,
So,
Aman's age = 3x
Given,
10 years ago, Aman was 5 times his son's age .
The ages of Aman and his son 10years ago are :
Aman's age= 3x - 10 years
Son's age = x - 10 years
A balanced equation will be formed which is as follows:
Multiplying and removing the brackets,
we have,
Transposing 3x to LHS and -50 to RHS,
we have,
x = 20
So,
Present age of Aman's son = x = 20years
Aman's present age = 3x = 3 × 20 = 60 years

let the age of son be x and of aman is y
then
y=3x-----------------1
before five year
y=5x-10-------------2
equalling1&2
3x=5x-10
2x=10
x=10/2
x=5
substituting in 1
it is 2*5
=10
then
y=3x-----------------1
before five year
y=5x-10-------------2
equalling1&2
3x=5x-10
2x=10
x=10/2
x=5
substituting in 1
it is 2*5
=10
