consider a body of mass M kg is lifted to a height of h metre above the ground level.

w = f \times s
w = m \times a \times s(f = m \times a)
w =  m\times g \times h

p = mgh


according to law of conservation of energy energy can neither be created nor be destroyed only change into one form to another form.
