Rabi crops :-
- The crops which are sown during winters are called Rabi crop.
- Ravi crop season last from October / November two March /April .
- Rabi crops are sown in the beginning of winter (October -November) and harvested in March / April .
- Wheat, Gram, Barley, Mustard, potato are Rabi crops.
Kharif crops :-
- The crops which are song during rainy season are called kharif crops.
- Kharif crop season last from June /July to September/ October.
- Kharif crops are also called summer crops.
- kharif crops are sown at the beginning of monsoon season June /July and harvested at the end of the monsoon September /October.
- Paddy,Maize , groundnut, cotton, pulses are some Kharif crops.
