pls tell me what is distributive property and associative property in maths for 6 class

The associative property states that you can add or multiply regardless of how the numbers are grouped. By 'grouped' we mean 'how you use parenthesis'. In other words, if you are adding or multiplying it does not matter where you put the parenthesis.

The distributive property lets you multiply a sum by multiplying each addend separately and then add the products.

\textbf{ASSOCIATIVE\:PROPERTY}:In the addition of whole numbers, the sum does not change even if the grouping is changed. This property is called the associative property of addition.

\textbf{DISTRIBUTIVE\:PROPERTY}a, b, and c are whole numbers, then,
a×(b+c)=a×b+a×c.
This property is called the distributive property of multiplication over addition.
