Once in a dark night i was alone at home . My parents had gone out for their job . I was reading horror stories that i suddenly heard pitter patter sound . I went to window and saw it was raining . A cold wind blew through the window. As i went back to my study table the power got cut. i was pretty scared and gave a piercing yell . Everything was happening according to the story i was reading.I heard a loud sound which did not seem familiar. Now i was too scared to move . Thunder and lighting was flashing in the dark sky . I quickly got up and lit a candle and sat quietly and prayed to Lord to make my parents come fast . I suddenly heard a bang on the door . I was sure that it would not be my parents . I didnot dare to open the door. The person standing outside was continuously ringing the bell and i got annoyed. To my utter surpriseness ,the power came . I quickly got up and opened the door and i was more surprised to see that the people were none other than my parents...
