Step-by-step explanation:

Given -

PQRS is a parallelogram and A and B are 2 points on RQ and SP respectively such that AQ=1/3 QR , BS=1/3 SP

RTP-

QASB is a parallelogram

Proof -

PQRS is a parallelogram

which implies

PS=QR ( Opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal )

Therefore

1/3 QR=1/3 SP

Therefore

AQ=BS --(1)

Also PS//QR

which implies AQ//BS ( Parts of parallel lines )-(2)

Thus

From (1) and (2)

QASB is a parallelogram

This is your Answer. Hope it helps.
