Area of trapezium can be find using the formula:

m DA ( m AB + m DC ) / 2

or we can say it. { h ( a + b ) / 2 }

or

we can simply find area by divide the trapezium into parts ...

like in this figure trapezium is divided into two parts ... Triangle and Rectangle..

In this way we simply fing the area of rectangle and triangle separately and add both of their area to get area of trapezium.
