Answer:

Cos A = 2 x/(1 +x^2)

Sin^2 A  +Cos^2 A = 1

Sin^2 A = 1- 2 x/(1 +x^2)

Sin^2 A = [1 +x^2 - 2 x] / (1 +x^2)

Sin^2 A = [x^2 - 2 x +1] / (1 +x^2)

             = [x^2-x -x+1] / (1 +x^2)

            =[x(x-1) -1(x-1)] / (1 +x^2)

            =[(x-1)(x-1)] / (1 +x^2)

            =(x-1)^2  / (1 +x^2)

Sin A = (x-1) /√(1 +x^2)

tan A=  Sin A/Cos A

tan A= (x-1) /√(1 +x^2)   /    2 x/(1 +x^2)
