I went to bed peacefully after a long day. In the middle of the night, around 2 am, I wanted to drink some water, so I got up from my bed. I started coughing due to a lot of smoke. I looked around and saw that nothing in my room was on fire. So, I opened my window completely and realized that the neighbour's house was on fire. I shut the window completely and ran downstairs to my mother. I woke her up and told her what I saw. Then I ran back upstairs I saw the neighbour's daughter screaming for help. I grabbed my phone and gave it to my mother and she asked me to call the fire department. I called them and the person on the other end goes like " hello, where is the emergency? " This was the first time I called an emergency number and I was quite afraid. In a trembling voice, I was like " 302 daffodil layout, my neighbour's house is blazing with fire. There are 4 people inside, please come as soon as possible. The person said " alright, sending help soon. " I cut the call, and went downstairs to tell mom that I called for help. Meanwhile my parents were outside thinking what to do. My father brought out a ladder, and some stuff. The help arrived sooner than expected and started to extinguish the fire. Soon, all of the four people were rescued, luckily, without any burns or injured. My neighbours thanked me and my family for saving their lives.
