Why do bad dreams seem to be continued from the same place they were left from even if the sleep is interrupted but the vice versa does not happen?

actually bad dreams are those which are obviously not desirable to be seen by us . it is not in our hands to control the dreams . but one thing i can tell u that is - a bad dream which is not too serious may be a sign of something which is going to happen with us . if bad dreams are coming continuously then it must be a sign of something dangerous .

This normally doesn't happen, unless you have mastered the technique of lucid dreaming, which I assume you haven't​, cuz if you had, you wouldn't have asked this question here!  Anyways, maybe those dreams are kind of an omen, trying to convey something, if you're getting them periodically, just note down some details of it intricately​, and then try to interpret them, who knows someone is trying to contact you through them!
