(i) Ages and ages hence, the poet shall tell with a sigh that long ago there were two roads that diverged in the wood and he took the one less traveled, and that made all the difference in his life. (ii) The fact that the poet says that he will be saying his story with a sigh can be a clue that he regretted his decision of taking the road which was less travelled. (iii) The poet wants to convey to us that a decision that he made years back has affected his life and made all the difference. Thus, one must be careful and thoughtful while taking a big step in life.
