Half the perimeter of a rectangular garden is 36 m . If the length is 4 m more than its was find the dimensions of the garden.

--------------------------------------------------

\huge\sf\underline{Answer}

\bf\huge\boxed{L=20m,B=16m}

--------------------------------------------------

Given—

Perimeter of half rectangular garden=36 m

Solution—

A/Q

1/2 × 2× (L + B) = 36

=> L + B = 36________(1)

Let if breadth = x, then length = x + 4

putting in eq (1)

x + x + 4 = 36

=> x = 16

Breadth = x = 16 m

Length = x + 4 = 20 m

Therefore, Length and Breadth are 20 m & 16 m respectively.
