a) the gas produced as effervescence in big test tube is CO2 or carbon dioxide
b) bubbles are seen in the small test tube as there is higher pressure in big test tube due to release of CO2. this gas travels through the delivery tube into the liquid in small tube hence forming bubbles.
c) the change of color of limewater is that it becomes white and milky.
