Thanks for this question

Asthma is a condition in which breathing is difficult and trigger coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath such symptoms can be witnessed.

There are two types of asthma :-

⇒ Allergic (caused by exposure to an allergen)

⇒ Nonallergic (caused by stress, exercise or illnesses like a cold)

For some people, asthma is a lesser nuisance. For others, it can be a major obstacle that interferes with daily activities and may lead to a life-threatening asthma attack.

It isn't clear why some people get asthma and others don't, but it's probably due to a combination of environmental, genetics, Infections, Air quality, Smoke, emotion, pollution factors.

It also appears to occur more regularly in people who are overweight. One risk factor for asthma is a condition called atopy. The testimony is quite clear that heredity is partially responsible for a person having atopy.

Asthma often runs in families, it is found that about half the cases are due to genetic and half result from environmental factors. Although there is no cure for asthma, effective treatments are available.

Prevention of symptoms is the best strategy. A person with asthma should know what situations trigger an attack and avoid them whenever possible. Many people with asthma manage the situation well and can live a healthy life by avoiding triggers and following their allergists’ instructions. If left unmanaged, asthma can be disastrous.

Hope this would helps.
