Step-by-step explanation:

let tens digit be X and ones digit be y

given,tens digit is equal to three times of ones digit

i.e.x=3y-----------(1)

if 54 is subtracted

to number,digits are reversed

i.e.10x+y-54=10y+X

10x-x-10y+y=o

9x-9y-54=0

9[x-y-6]=0

substitute (1) in this

3y-y-6=0

2y=6

y=3

substitute y=3 in (1)

X=3(3)

x=9

therefore number is 93
