let P, Q,R and S are the points which devide seg. AB in 5 congruent parts
Where
A(1,2) ,B(6,7)
here P(x1,y1) divide seg. AB in the ratio 1:4
Bye section formula

x1 = 1 \times 6 + 4 \times 1 \div 1 + 4

 = 10 \div 5
 = 2
 y1 = 1 \times 7 + 4 \times 2 \div 1 + 4

 = 7 + 8 \div 5
 = 15 \div 5
 = 3
co-ordinates of point P are (2,3).

P is the midpoint of seg. AQ
Where
A(1,2) ,Q(x2,y2) ,P(2,3)
By midpoint formula

2 = 1 + x2 \div 2
4 = 1 + x2
4 - 1 = x2
x2 = 3
3 = 2 + y2 \div 2
6 = 2 + y2
6 - 2 = y2
y2 = 4
Co-ordinates of point Q are (3,4)

Q (3,4) is midpoint of seg. PR
Where
P(2,3),Q(3,4),R(x3,y3)
By midpoint formula
3 = 2 + x3 \div 2
6 = 2 + x3
6 - 2 = x3
x3 = 4
4 = 3 + y 3

8 = 3 + y3
8 - 3 = y3
y 3 = 5
Co-ordinates of point R are (4,5)
