hello mate ♥️

Answer:

126 degree

Step-by-step explanation:

Given In the adjacent figure AB||CD; CD || EF and y:z =3:7, find x.

y / z = 3 / 7

 y = 3 / 7 z

CD is parallel to EF

y + z = 180 (alternate interior angle)

 3/7 z + z = 180

 3z + 7z / 7 = 180

 10 z = 1260

  z = 126 degree

 So y = 3/7(126)

  y = 54 degree

AB is parallel to CD

There is a transversal in between. We know that sum of interior angles of same side of transversal is supplementary. So

  x + y = 180

x + 54 = 180

x = 180 - 54

 x = 126 degree

AB is also parallel to EF and x = z.

Hence x  = 126 degree

Answer:

x = z (alternate interior angles)

y + z = 180 (co interior angles )

y + x = 180 (x = z)

Let angle = a

3a + 7a = 180

10a=180

a = 180/10

a = 18

x = 7a = 7 × 18 = 126
