a.

Area of Triangle ABC = 24 cm²

Area of Triangle ABC = Area of Triangle BMC + Area of Triangle AMB

ATQ

Area of Triangle ABC = 24 cm²

Area of Triangle ABC = Area of Triangle BMC + Area of Triangle AMB

24 cm² = Area of Triangle BMC + 10 cm²

24 cm² - 10 cm = Area of Triangle BMC

14 cm² = Area of Triangle BMC

OR

Area of Triangle BMC = 14 cm²

b.

In Triangle AMD and CMB

DM = MB (Diagonals busect each other)

Angle DMA = Angle CMB (Vertically opp. angles)

CM = MA (Diagonals busect each other)

Therefore,

Triangle AMD is Congruent to Triangle CMB

By CPCT,

Therefore,

Area of Triangle AMD = 12 cm²

Hope it helps you, hv a nyc day
