The 14 ohm + 6 ohm resistor = 20 ohms. 20 and 20 in parallel give 10 ohm resistance. The 10 and 10 ohms in series give 20 ohms. Then the 20 and 20 in parallel again give 10 ohms. Then the 10 and 25 ohms in series give 35 ohms.
The Current in the circuit = Voltage/Total Resistance = 70/35 = 2 A.
∴ Current across the 25 ohm resistor = 2 A
∴ The equivalent resistance across points P and Q = 10 ohms as derived above.
