Angle PRO =QRO=60  as the line joining bisects the total angle of the tangent

Angle RQO = RPO = 90 as the tangents are perpendicular to the radius.

Therefore, By using Trigonometric identities in Triangle PRO ,

Cos Angle PRO = OR/PR

1/2 = PR/OR

Therefore OR = 2PR

Similarly in Triangle QRO

OR = 2QR

Adding both equations we get,

OR + OR = 2QR + 2PR

2OR = 2(QR+PR)

Therefore,

OR = QR + PR
