$AOC = $2×ABC = $2×ADC

$ AFC = $X + $Y ( exterior $ property of ∆)----(1)
IN ∆ CBE

$ E + $Y = $CBE = X ( exterior $ property of ∆)
$E = $X - $Y----(2)



$ AOC = 2X = $X-$Y + $X+$Y (from 1 & 2)
