2) When we add water to any concentrated strong acid there is and exothermic reaction taking place. The heat evolved is very high and that high temperature may boil the mixture and splash it all around. So we never add water to concentrated acid for its dilution.

3) When dry blue crystals of CuSO4 are added to concentrated sulphuric acid it causes its dehydration and turn them into white.

CuSO4.5H2O + H2SO4 ------> CuSO4 +5H2O
