according to the question,

x/x+4

if 1 is added to the numerator and 2 is added to the denominator....

x+1/x+4+2= 2/3

x+1/x+6 = 2/3

we will do cross multiply-

3×(x+1) = 2×(x+6)

3x+3 = 2x+12

3x-2x = 12-3

x = 9

the original fraction is..

x/x+4

9/9+4
