Answer:

ANSWER

log 2 is irrational

PROOF

-->a ratinal number can be written in the form of p / q

where p and q are two integers and q is not equal to 0

--> let log 2 = p/q a ratinal number

if base is 10

2 = 10^ (p/q)

2^q = (2×5)^p

2 ^(q-p) = 5^p where q-p

---> now here lhs is even and rhs is odd as 2 raised to power any integer is even and 5 raised to power any integer is odd

so our assumption is wrong log2 is irratinal number

NOW

YOUR SECOND QUESTION

ANSWER

log base 1 10 is not defined

proof:-

let us consider given term

and consider that it is defined

log base 1 (10) = any number ( let say x )

by property of log

10 = 1^x

but we know 1 raised to any number is 1

so our assumption is wrong

log base 1 (10) is not defined
